The perfect locationkort_2_gif

Kalundborg, with its geographical position close to the international deep-sea route to the Baltic, is kort_1_gifone of the areas in Denmark which carry most traffic. Three harbours are situated at the head of Kalundborg Fjord: the harbours of Kalundborg, the Asnaes Power Plant and the Statoil Refinery. More than 13 million tons of cargo pass through these harbours every year.

Kalundborg Harbour is the deep-water harbour of the region with a water depth of 12 metres. The water depth in the Statoil Harbour is 13 metres while the Harbour of the Asnaes Power Plant is 13.50 metres deep.
havn_jpgOwing to its unique location and to the heavy traffic of ferries and cargo vessels, Kalundborg Harbour is hardly ever ice-bound.

Off Kalundborg - 30 minutes' run from the Port of Kalundborg - there is an international lightering area with perfect sheltered anchorages. The water depth is up to 17 metres. This area provides optimum possibilities for bunkering, lightering, oil transfer, change of crew, receipt of stores, provisions, etc.

See further information for the Asnaes Coal and Oil Berth, Statoil Pier, East Harbour and South Harbour. Please visit the official homepage for the Municipal Port of Kalundborg to get supplementary information.
